Hypnotism and Money

Hypnotism is a very lucrative business and it's a fun career to do in any pathway you may take. Hypnotists of the past have actually quite literally hypnotised themselves rich, their is just that kind of potential and the more you hypnotise yourself you begin to realise your true maximum potential which often times seems limitless.

But before deciding to take a career leap and spend your hard earned cash on studying ask yourself some of the following questions. How do I earn money as a hypnotist?, How much does a hypnotist earn? What do other hypnotists earn? What kind of hypnotist would I like to be? There are a lot of questions you should ask yourself before any career move. So if your still interested or need more information lets take a look at the few types of hypnotist careers and how much they earn.

Hypnotherapists help people with their problems and traumas. It is very interesting and you find yourself learning new things all the time that further ensure what really is a great study and hobby. Hypnotherapists earn £10k-£50k a year throughout the UK. They service people from all kinds of walks of life.

Stage Hypnotists is a high demand job, it is important to be quick witted and on your feet about the scenes you are dragged into. There is a lot of fun but it is important to remember that you are not only a hypnotist but also an entertainer. You run via gigs and is probably worthwhile starting out as part time hobbyist and then further develop and get yourself an agent. Stage Hypnotists can earn anywhere between £100 - £1k+ per gig and are in high demand. The majority of stage hypnotists go for a comedy but there are even some that go for more adult content but some of this is definitely to be laughed at.

Life coaches earn from as little as £20 per hour right up to £10'000 per day for top level exec's but what people don't know is that 100'000's of British people alone seek help from life coaches every day. There is a lot of potential for hypnotists to make a lot of cash.

It is a viable and professional career move if you so wish to become one and study hard at the thing you love. Look into NLP, Psychotherapy even yoga and meditation also have many very useful resources that can aid you to further become a better hypnotist.

Hypnotism in a Nutshell

Hypnotism conjures up many myths, as it is a topic that people do not generally give thought about. We see hypnotist's on stage making people cluck like chickens or having them bark like a frenzied dog for a viewing audiences pleasure. Then, the next second we hear about a friend of a friend who has had hypnosis to stop them from smoking or get over trauma and it's worked wonders. There is only one conclusion to Hypnotism and that is that it truly is one powerful tool.

Hypnotism is the art of reprogramming ones mind in my simple yet probably fairly accurate statement.

A common myth around hypnosis is that it puts people into a unconscious sleep where the hypnotist then reprograms the mind. I can assure you that this is just not true.

Pay attention now because this is what hypnotism is all about.

"Hypnotic Trance is like a heightened version of consciousness where you are able to take new or alter existing suggestions given to you by the information from your senses/perceptions. Everyone has sense/perception, it is what makes us alive. Our senses/perceptions determine how we react to, respond to and learn the world around us."

I'm just going to go over my definition now so that you have a clearer understanding because I know sometimes I make no sense whatsoever.

The Hypnotic trance is what a Hypnotist/Hypnotherapist will at first begin to induce this can be done in a variety of ways. It generally is a relaxation method to help you release from your current affairs and begin your path inside to get to the very mechanics of your brain. If you are familiar with computers and I'm guessing you may have a little knowledge as you've found my blog. It's like you brain has it's own operating system like windows vista, XP, Linux etc. It doesn't come with Microsoft Office and you feel robbed....lol (only joking!!). It is like the operating system though. Your brain thinks with it's operating system and is pretty much a blank slate with instinct hence solitaire being on there.

That's all fine and dandy but your brain knows to do things in certain ways. This is the software you have installed over time. The software could be your views on politics, maths, bikini swim suit judging or even how you make whoopee etc. All software is stored information on the computer to assist the operating system. All this software can be controlled with its basic senses/perceptions, relating to a computer, it's like installing a new program via CD/DVD or download could be compared to reading a book and learning a new topic or using the mouse to try to draw in paint for the first time, but mainly using any of the hardware (keyboard, mouse, touchscreen, camera etc).

These basic sense/perceptions can be broke down like this:

  1. Visual - pictures, colours decorations.

  2. Auditory - music, voices, birdsong, sounds.

  3. Kinasthetic - textures, touch, feel, emotional vibes.

  4. Olfactory -Smells, Chemicals, Scents

  5. Gustatory- Tastes, Food and Drink

These senses/perceptions are what our brain learns from. The senses/perceptions take in information for our brain to learn from. What we learn will determine the information's relevance and may get categorized into what you have previously learnt.

What hypnotists do is give your brain chance to make the information more concise and detailed. So we can better learn from our senses. Our brains have a way of prioritising large information. Sometimes that information cold have come from a bad event. For example, if a dog that you stroked everyday on your way home from work suddenly turned one day barked and tried to bite you. You would be more conscious when passing that dog the next day. This information would be prioritised as it would have given you a new perception and you probably would have payed more attention to it as it was a new experience but how you categorise this experience would be entirely your choice. You could develop a phobia but not realise that 360 times a year you have stroked that dog without any qualms.
