Merry Xmas and Happy New Year 2009/2010




Well it's that time of the year and I wanted to wish all readers a happy xmas and happy new year from Hypnotic Tricks. I know there will be quite a few new years resolutions happening and we hopefully will be giving you hints and tips to stick to them. I want to see people succeed and also myself in the tasks laid ahead of them. We all have something that seems to be calling us. I hope all our wisdom, mindfullness, determination and aspirations finally work with us and pull us towards our goals effortlessly. But for now,

Procrastination VS Willpower

The Hypnotic power of the Mind is unfathomable, People generally wish to overcome many tasks to proceed further in life. Using the techniques of hypnosis it becomes clear that you can shape your way of thinking to better prepare your main for those specific tasks.

You may in your life have set out to do something great then you find yourself distracted and completely off course without even realising it. Fortunately, This happens to most people. People put this down to willpower or lack of concentration. But, I think if you have a sub-conscious mind it shouldn't allow you to be distracted from the goal ahead. The thing is you sub-conscious never does distract you. I think if everyone takes a step back to view these pictures in a wider scale they will realise that what has distracted them is the determination created to complete the task at hand.

Let me explain, Every time you set out to do something big and to accomplish something. Your placing your sub-conscious with an amount of stress, as it's not an everyday task that you have set for it to focus on completion. Your subconscious mind then believes it has to do some overtime on the work set. A common belief is that if you do more work you will reap more reward. So, your subconscious mind is now given the belief structure that it is a goal tackling machine more goals equal more reward. But, the task at hand isn't previously related to this more work, more reward scheme as it may not be something done before. Now the sub-conscious mind is struggling to comprehend this new task but knows that during the day you can literally do hundreds of small task, so it takes care of these first and before you know it the task is shunted to tomorrows agenda. In short, the subconscious compensates with little tasks sometimes to fulfill beliefs that have not been adjusted, this is where hypnosis comes in.

Have you ever set out to do some task for yourself and then you've decided that the house is too messy or the washing up needs doing before you make a start. Then all of sudden you feel that you done too many odd jobs and you are due for reward in procrastination. I can tell you one thing this was the story of my day to day life.

The thing is this really got to me though because I saw it happening to people so often and so regularly that I began to judge people when they told me their plans, I am glad to know some of the people I have known because a handful beat it and finished there tasks. Some of these people became really successful. One is a famous magician whom I don't really see anymore as he is always fully booked.


I wanted to help people through this, I was sick of people who were constantly telling me I'm going to try this new diet every time I saw them over lunch. They'd tell me I've seen this new weight loss plan it includes a diet where you just eat 'nothing' and pretend your not hungry it's better than the one where you just drink water. Half the time they would have told me about some other diet the week before. I mean Wow a week long diet, No wonder your stuffing your face now, boring me to death without even realising it. The smoking habit is definitely another a common one that I hear a lot, with this its " I would stop smoking but there's a lot going on at the moment, works stressful, so and so's......"

The trick is not to overload the subconscious with tasks, Your conscious mind needs to play a part in your life. People sometimes have disbelief that until they see results it doesn't work. All great things do not work like that. If you wanted to slim down with your new diet or stop smoking you'll release that belief can be more important to the actual working towards these goals. You can't just work towards goals like a one task orientated robot either, this could have adverse effects because the lack of procrastination can lead you to new beliefs and have you miss the exciting opportunities life can present you. You need balance.

You should develop modes in your subconscious with time out periods, It's something most people are used with there day to day working lives. So What makes the working life work. Why do we succeed at something so repetitive, why does it not have the adverse effects. Why do you get your weekly/monthly pay. Could what your beliefs already know and value be applied to yourself.
